Thousand-year spelling gaffe

So I'm watching Queer Eye for the Straight Guy on Bravo, the episode where they go back to do the wedding for the guy they helped propose. The celebrants are off to the hotel where they will be preparing for the ceremony. They pull up in front of a lower Manhattan luxury hotel, the MILLENIUM HILTON.

No, I didn't misspell that — they did! On the front of their hotel, they misspelled their own name. Wow. At least they're consistent with the misspelling (or should I say mispeling?) on the web and in their advertising.

There are two Ns in MILLENNIUM, just like CENTENNIAL — the liquor store or the 100-year anniversary. Yeah, well, actually there are three Ns in centennial, but there's a buffalo in Bisontennial.
